The PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics offers an open ended research platform through which you may work with leading researchers in a number of computational and applied fields. Many industrial sectors and occupations are heavily reliant on the ability to interpret problems and creatively meaningful solutions and analysis thereof. Industrial settings include but are not limited to, banking, quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, operations research, supply chain and mining.
A Research Masters degree in a related field. A supervisor from the School must be identified and approached prior to application.
