Quantitative Analyst Trainee, Credit Risk Systems.

Can you tell us why you chose this career? 

I am looking to be a part of the innovative works of risk quantification in the volatile world we live in.

What’s a typical day like in your job?

Project check-in meetings via skype, research, coding in SAS and team check-in meetings via Teams or Skype.

What are the some of the highlights and challenges of your role?

Challenges would be learning new coding programs and cleaning of huge data. I have highlight moments every time I understand the different concepts of my work.

How do you keep up to date with all the changes in your profession?

The daily team check-in meetings help quite a lot. Our team shares articles and news whenever they come out. Also, just having conversations with people.

What do you enjoy doing for fun outside of the office?

Conversations with my friends and colleagues, playing board games, listening to music, watching movies, series and recently, swimming.
