I like all things problem-solving and technical. Working in IT allows me to challenge myself daily. It is very rewarding
What’s a typical day like in your job?
The start of everyday is checking emails and my calendar. On a day of training, I join the teams call for the day where we follow a curriculum. The day usually ends with a test. On a day of working in the rotations, we usually have small projects to work on.
What are the some of the highlights and challenges of your role?
The biggest highlight is working on the latest technologies available. A challenge I faced is being a night-owl in campus, to now having to work in regular hours.
How do you keep up to date with all the changes in your profession?
YouTube is a great way to learn about new technologies. There are plenty free tutorials available.
What do you enjoy doing for fun outside of the office?
I love to travel and see new places and cultures.
